Trishla Singh of Dehradun has got second rank (All India Ranking) in the prestigious Indian Economics Services (IES) examination taken by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The final result of the examination was declared on Tuesday. Trishla’s father Kaushal Kumar is a professor of commerce at DAV PG College here. Happy at her performance Trishla said that she left a lucrative job in a MNC to prepare for the UPSC examination. She said that she prepared for the examinations during the lockdown period. After studying for her written examination, she prepared for her interview for two months. Trishla had done her schooling from Brightlands School in Dehradun and then she went to Delhi for higher studies. Her family is extremely proud of her achievement.
