The president of Uttarakhand BJP Mahendra Bhatt has said that NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created a record by registering third consecutive win in Lok Sabha elections. Interacting with the media persons at BJP office on Wednesday, Bhatt said that BJP is a cadre based party which works continuously and its workers are always on an active mode. He said that though the party has emerged victorious, the election results will be analysed.
Taking a dig at the leaders of INDI alliance, Bhatt said that those who have collectively got fewer seats than BJP are pointing fingers at the victory of NDA.
On the question of the slogan of ‘ Abki bar 400 par’, the State BJP president said that in the last Lok Sabha, the NDA had 350 seats and it was imperative for it to take a target of 400 seats.
He said that it is a matter of great pleasure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address yesterday had expressed gratitude to the people of Uttarakhand for giving all the five seats in the State to BJP. He added that the organisation of BJP is fully prepared for elections of urban local bodies. The party will prepare a panel of three names each in every ULB and the State parliamentary board of the party will select the candidate after examining every aspect.
