Seven family members from Gorakhpur were headed towards Nainital

In latest Uttarakhand news, the road mishap spree with fatalities going unabated in the mountainous parts of the State, two brothers were killed and five others of the same family were injured as the car they were travelling in crashed in a gorge near Priya Bend on Kaladhungi-Nainital Road. It is learnt that seven members of a family from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh were going on a tour to Nainital when the accident happened. Police said that all the injured were rushed to Haldwani-based Sushila Tiwari Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Rahul Srivastava (35) and Rajiv Srivastava (30). Police further said that they died on the spot. Though the mishap happened at late night hours police were informed in the morning. The police team immediately reached the accident site and pulled up the bodies of the deceased and those injured from the gorge. The injured were rushed to the hospital, police informed.
