A two-day national conference on recent innovations in engineering technology and science was inaugurated at JBIT by India Glycols research and development president Rakesh Kumar Khandal and Forest Research Institute director Renu Singh along with others. Khandal said that the current time is an era of innovation with even the Prime Minister Narendra Modi laying much stress on innovation. He also exhorted the students to accord importance to cultural values in order to achieve their aims in life.
The FRI director shared information about the research being undertaken by the institute. She stressed that along with students, all need to discharge their duties towards the environment because life will not be possible without it. Special guests Shubham Awasthi and Ananya Pathak also expressed their views on the occasion.
The institute director Amit Kumar Bansal informed that along with the faculty members of JBIT, 60 faculty members from universities across India will be presenting their research papers in the two-day national conference.
