Two men were caught by the police with 105 drug injections in Jwalapur. The duo said that they are drug addicts and also sell the same to other substance abusers to fuel their own habit. They had bought the injections from Roorkee to sell here. The duo was presented by the police in court from where they were sent to jail.
Jwalapur Kotwali in-charge Mahesh Joshi informed that a campaign is underway against drug dealers. After catching Jwalapur residents Sahadullah and Harun, the police called drug inspector Anita Bharti to the spot to get the drugs identified. She informed that the sale of the drug injections seized from the duo is restricted. Joshi further said that the two accused nabbed by the police had provided some actionable inputs based on which action will be taken against some other drug smugglers in the near future.
