An accident took place on Friday when a dumper fell in the Jalkur river near the bridge on the Tehri’s Bijpur Paniala Mater Road. The two people who were riding on the dumper died on the spot. According to the sources, the names of the deceased are Jairaj Singh (28 years) and Santosh Singh (35years) and both of them belonged to Kandiyal Gaon which is located in Jakhnidhar Tehsil of Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. It has been reported that the police officials reached at the place of the incident and carried out a rescue operation to get the dead bodies out of the river.
