Two teenagers and young man die in road accident

Two teenagers and a young man died in two different accidents that occurred in Dehradun’s Doiwala area on Thursday. Officials informed that a car carrying six people met with an accident at about 1 AM on Thursday near the Kudkawala bridge in the Doiwala area. The police reached the spot after getting information and took all injured people to Himalayan Hospital in Jolly Grant for treatment. Two 17- year-old boys Yash and Rishabh were brought to the hospital in critical condition and the doctors declared both dead. The remaining four people are under treatment in the hospital.
The officials said that it was revealed in the primary investigation that the accident happened possibly because the driver lost control of the car due to high speed which caused it to overturn.
The deceased are residents of the Premnagar area. The bodies will be handed over to the family members after completing Panchayatnama and post mortem proceedings. Another accident occurred at about 6 AM near Lachhiwala flyover on Thursday when a pickup vehicle collided with a tractor trolley carrying metal bars. The driver Azhar (21), a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor, sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance but the doctors declared him brought dead.
The police have informed the family and will hand them over the body after completing the required procedures of Panchayatnama and post- mortem, the officials said.
