UCDF receives e-marketing award in Gujarat

The Uttarakhand Cooperative Dairy Federation (UCDF) was bestowed with the e-marketing award at the national level in Gujarat on Wednesday. The administrator, UCDF Mukesh Bora informed that a seminar had been organised by the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India (NCDFI) in Gujarat in which UCDF secured the sixth position in marketing and dairy farming at the national level.
He further said that under the guidance of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the brand ‘Aanchal’ has been gaining popularity both within the State and across the country. “This recognition at the national level has inspired us greatly. The collective and coordinated efforts of the dairy development/dairy federation and milk union have helped us achieve this success. It has also elevated the state’s stature in the field of milk cooperative,” he said.
“Efforts are continuously being made to uplift the economic and social conditions of the milk producers. We are mulling to train 4,800 milk producers. Currently, the daily milk production has reached a record of 200,000 liters,” stated Bora.
He further said that milk production is increasing daily and the marketing of milk products is also seeing continuous growth.
