A meeting on e-waste management in Dehradun and Rudraprayag was organised by Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) on Tuesday. UCOST joint director D P Uniyal shared the objective and work done by the e-waste management unit.
The secretary of Society of Pollution and Environmental Conservation Scientists (SPECS) Brij Mohan Sharma also presented a presentation about projection activities and work done by collection centres. The director of the Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP) also stated that awareness campaigns should be conducted to categorise e-waste according to its value.
