UCOST holds cricket match with NIEPVD

The Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) organised a cricket match with the students of the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) on Saturday on Saturday. The match was between the UCOST team and the NIEPVD team, which comprised both visually impaired players in the B1, B2 and B3 categories, as well as sighted players, showcased a remarkable example of unity and cooperation. Team NIEPVD won the match by 100 runs, demonstrating exceptional skill and teamwork to achieve the victory. Additionally, the players of the winning team were awarded with mementos for their outstanding performance. The man of the match was Deepak Rawat. Speaking at the occasion, director general of UCOST, Durgesh Pant encouraged the players and said that this match not only provided an exciting cricketing experience but also reinforced the values of inclusivity and mutual respect.
