The UJVN Limited has claimed that it has achieved its annual target of power productions for the year 2022-23 on March 25 itself. The managing director of the UJVNL Sandeep Singhal said that despite adverse situations such as reduction in water flow in rivers due to reduced rainfall, the corporation was able to achieve its annual target before the time.
Singhal said the corporation had an annual production target of 5389.68 Million Units (MU) for the year 2022-23 and it was able to achieve it (5390.020 MU) on March 25 itself. He said that it would help in reducing the dependency of the State on other States and private companies. The MD expressed gratitude to the secretary power, R Meenakshi Sundaram and the chairperson of UJVN Limited Radha Raturi for their efficient leadership. He attributed the achievement to the hard work of the officers and employees and excellent work culture of the organisation.
