The UJVN Limited observed the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri at its head office in Dehradun on Monday. The officers and the employees participated in various patriotic programmes organised on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the UJVNL director (projects) Suresh Chandra Baluni dwelt on the multifaceted personalities and the monumental nation-building works of these two great leaders of the country. He stressed that the people should tread the path shown by them while lauding them as fonts of inspiration for world peace and harmony.
Among senior UJVNL officers present on the occasion were the executive director Himanshu Awasthi and the managing director Pankaj Kulshrestha. The manager (administration and security) Rakesh Kumar conducted the commemorative programmes.
