UJVN Limited’s 9.3 MW Mohammadpur hydropower plant, situated on Upper Ganga Canal in Haridwar district, generated the highest ever energy for the month of July since it’s commissioning.
Briefing about this the managing director of UJVNL Sandeep Singhal said that Mohammadpur hydro electric project generated 5.521 million units of energy in July 2021 which was the highest ever generation of this plant for the month of July since it’s commissioning in 1952. The previous highest ever generation by Mohammadpur power plant for the month of July was done in July 2020 which was 5.313 million units.
Singhal appreciated this achievement of the power plant and said that this record generation has been achieved by the better operation and maintenance of machines along with the commendable working of employees.
