The United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in New Delhi to attend the G-20 Summit slated on September 9 and 10. His wife Akshata Murty is accompanying him. They were welcomed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport by the Union minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey and the British high commissioner in India Alex Ellis. Besides, a dance troupe presented a traditional Indian dance by way of welcoming the esteemed guests. During his three-day stay in India, the British PM would hold a bilateral meeting with the PM Narendra Modi. Ahead of his departure for India, Sunak, the first UK PM of Indian origin, said in an interview that he was looking forward to further improving relation between India and United Kingdom.
