The allegations on Adani have highlighted a pattern of bribery, money laundering and fraud in the markets which has defamed the image of Indian trade and finances,he said.
The Congress leader said that the scam is a major cause of concern for the corporate governance and regulatory mechanism of India. The loss of faith among Indian and international investors is a cause of major concern, he said.

He said that denial of parliamentary debate on the issue shows that the ruling party is trying to evade its responsibilities.
He also questioned the failure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the violence affected Manipur and said that the Union government and the State government have failed to handle the situation in Manipur. Joshi informed that the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara will lead the march and it would be attended by all the senior leaders, MLAs, former MLAs, members of AICC and PCC and workers of the Congress party.
