In order to attract investors in the aerospace and defence sector, a delegation from Uttarakhand is participating in Aero India 2021 being held in Bengaluru. The delegation comprises Uttarakhand defence manufacturing coordinator VS Rawat, State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (SIIDCUL) architect planer YS Pundir and senior project consultant from Ernst and Young, Pritam Deshmukh.
SIIDCUL has participated in Aero India 2021 with a serious intention to attract potential investors working in the aerospace and defence sector. The team of delegates from the government of Uttarakhand is keen on holding one- on- one meetings with potential investors to attract substantial investment for the State. Pertinently, the Uttarakhand government has formulated a defence policy. SIIDCUL is also coming up with an electronics manufacturing cluster which will give a boost to defence electronic.
