U’khand govt transfers 15 IPS officers

In a major reshuffle, the State government shifted responsibilities of 15 Indian Police Service officers on Friday. Inspector General Vimmy Sachdeva Raman has been relieved of charge of IG Police Headquarters and this responsibility has been assigned to Yogendra Singh Rawat, IG, Personnel. Notably, Sachdeva will continue to serve as IG, Provisioning and Modernisation. Neeru Garg, currently IG, PAC/ATC, has been reshuffled as IG, Fire Service. IG Police Telecommunication and CID Krishna Kumar VK has been divested from the charge of IG, CID.

 Other transfers include Mukhtar Mohsin, who has been moved from IG, Fire Service, to IG , GRP. Karan Singh Nagnyal, IG, Intelligence/Security, has been given additional charge of IG, Prison. 

Additionally, Arun Mohan Joshi has been transferred from the position of IG, SDRF to IG, CID. Nilesh Anand Bharne has been given additional charge of IG, PAC, while retaining his current roles IG, Cyber/STF/ANTF/Director FSL and secretary, Police Sports Control Board. 

As per the transfer order Sunil Kumar Meena currently performing his duties as IG, Crime and Law and Order/CCTN/SCRB/GRP has been removed from IG, GRP. The list includes Nivedita Kukreti, Yashwant Singh, Tripti Bhatt, RC Rajguru, Sarita Dobhal and Harish Verma.
