U’khand IAS Radhika Jha appointed as CEO of EESL

Uttarakhand Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Radhika Jha has been appointed as the chief executive officer of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). EESL, promoted by Ministry of Power, Government of India is a joint venture between NTPC Limited, Power Grid, Power Finance Corp and REC Limited which works to promote energy efficiency in the country. Jha was the secretary to the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand from 2017 to 2021.
Ramesh Pallakonda, chairman of Rajasthan’s power distribution company, and Harpreet Singh Pruthi, executive director at Indian Railways and others were also competing for the post.
