U’khand makes 50 lakh Ayushman health cards

In a significant achievement, the State Health Authority (SHA) has claimed that it has made 50 Lakh Ayushman health cards in Uttarakhand. The chief executive officer (CEO) of the SHA Arunendra Singh Chauhan said that efforts are being made to include more and more people in the Ayushman scheme. He said that Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana was launched on September 23, 2018 and the Atal Ayushman Yojana started on December 25 in 2018 in the State. Chauhan said that in Dehradun district a total of 1047988 cards have so far been made.
The Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat congratulated the team of the SHA for the stupendous feat of making 50 lakh health cards in the State. He said that the target of linking 100 per cent population of the State with the scheme would also be achieved in near future.
