In latest news from Dehradun, Uttarkhand bagged the first position in the ranking for March in the Election Commission of India (ECI)-organised voter awareness campaign on social media. The State’s chief elector officer B V R C Purushottam and director general, Information, Banshidhar Tiwari congratulated the social media team on this achievement.
ECI sources said that the creative content prepared by the State’s social media team as part of the voter awareness campaign was appreciated by one and all. Besides, the appealing content involving the frontier villages showing the women in traditional attire and the Bollywood stars exhorting the people to cast franchise went viral.
