U’khand receives Rs 162 crore from Centre
A total of Rs 527 crore for capital investment has been given to the state by GOI

The government of India has released the second of final instalment of Rs 162 crore for capital investment in Uttarakhand. The centre had approved a sum of Rs 527 crore to Uttarakhand under the ‘Financial help to the states’ project. The scheme is part of the ministry of finance’s plan for capital investment in the states. The state has already received the first instalment of a sum of Rs 365 crore under the scheme. Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman for important financial approvals to Uttarakhand. He said that Uttarakhand is moving forward on the path of development under the guidance of PM Modi and cooperation of the union government.
