It means that a total of 1,33,15,924 vaccine doses have been administered so far. As per the data of state health department a total of 77,29,466 people are needed to be vaccinated in the state which means that the department has a target of 1,54,58,932 vaccine shots.
The Founder of SDC foundation, Anoop Nautiyal said that it would be a matter of concern if the vaccination target is not achieved. He said that due to the decrease in the number of Covid 19 cases people are under the wrong impression that now nothing will happen to them and are not getting the second dose administered. Nautiyal suggested that the government should think about making the vaccination compulsory for all.
