The Uttarakhand men and women badminton teams secured silver medals at the 38th National Games here on Saturday. Officials informed that on the fifth day of the games, Uttarakhand’s badminton teams delivered a commendable performance and won silver medals in both the men’s and women’s team events. This is a significant moment for Uttarakhand, especially considering that last year the women’s team did not participate, and the men’s team won a bronze medal, they said.
They further added that with this achievement, Uttarakhand’s badminton players have showcased their hard work and talent, suggesting a promising future for badminton in the State. This victory is expected to boost the morale of the players for upcoming competitions.
