The participants were selected through an online creative writing competition on various themes which was organised from December 28 to February 3, 2022.
He also informed that 96 students from various schools in Uttarakhand will witness the interaction with the PM in Raj Bhawan in the presence of the governor. Also, 310 students from Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya, Nanoorkheda will see the programme in the presence of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat. The event is scheduled to take place at 11 AM on April 1 at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi and will also be telecast live through the Swayam Prabha channel across the schools in the state. It will also be streamed in other countries to reach out to the Indian diaspora. The selected 22 participants will be given a certificate of appreciation and a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit comprising an Exam Warriors book authored by PM Modi.
The ADG said that the department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education has been organising Pariksha Pe Charcha programme for the last four years but it has assumed greater importance at present considering the country coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic and exams shifting back to offline mode. The programme is a part of the ‘Exam Warriors’ movement which is inspired by PM Modi’s bestselling book of the same name. Under this movement, Modi interacts with parents, teachers and students and talks about creating a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters and appeals to foster such an environment where each child’s unique individuality is encouraged and celebrated and s/he is allowed to express it freely. He urges everyone to see exams in the right perspective rather than making it a life-death situation, added Kumar.
