U’khand witnesses big jump in recovery rate

The recovery rate on September 22 was 71 percent which now has jumped to about 90 percent
In an indication of major improvement in the situation of the pandemic of Covid-19 in Uttarakhand, the recovery rate has witnessed an increase of almost 19 percent in the last one month. The recovery rate on September 22 was 71 percent which now has jumped to 89.84 percent.
Udham Singh Nagar district has the highest recovery rate in the state. Here 95 percent of 9284 patients have so far recovered from the disease. In Haridwar 9910 patients out of total 10712 cases of the disease have been cured from the disease. Here the recovery rate is 93 percent. Tehri Garhwal has a recovery rate of 91 percent while Nainital and Almora have recovery rates of 90 percent each. Mountainous Uttarkashi and provisional state capital Dehradun have 87 percent recovery rate each. With a recovery rate of 81 percent Pauri Garhwal district is at the bottom of the table of recovery rate in the state. Here 2165 out of 2680 patients of Covid-19 have so far recovered from the disease.
The founder of Social Development for Communities (SDC) foundation, Anoop Nautiyal said that nine out of 10 persons in the state have recovered from Covid-19 which is a very good sign. He said that five districts of the state have recovery rates in excess of 90 percent while there is not a single district below 80 percent recovery rate.
