Around 20,000 youth are going to appear for the recruitment examination for the posts of assistant accountants in 49 centres to be held under Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). Amidst tight security arrangements, the candidates have been asked to reach the examination centres well before the start of the exam for checking purpose.
UKPSC said that all preparations have been made for smooth conduct of the examinations. A maximum of 16 centres have been set up in Dehradun.
The commission secretary Giridhari Singh Rawat said that they are fully prepared for Sunday’s recruitment exams. He further said that there would be four centres in Almora, three in Champawat, three in Srinagar Pauri, 16 in Dehradun, seven in Nainital, six in Udham Singh Nagar and 10 in Haridwar. The number of candidates are 1125 (Almora), 801 (Champawat), 946 (Srinagar, Pauri), 7778 (Dehradun), 3378 (Nainital), 2339 (Udham Singh Nagar) and 4320 (Haridwar).
