The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has postponed the Uttarakhand combined civil/ subordinate service mains examination.
This examination which was scheduled to be held from November 12 to 15 would now be organised from January 28, 2023 to January 31. The commission has also given a relaxation of ten days to the candidates who were not able to deposit the fees till October 26. As per the order of the secretary of the commission the last date of deposit of fees by the medium of net banking, debit card, credit card and UPI payment is November 11, 2022.
The commission has extended the date of the mains of the prestigious examination to give time to the candidates who had qualified for the examination recently. It is pertinent to mention here that the UKPSC had scheduled the mains examination in the month of August this year. However the commission on the orders of Uttarakhand High Court had to revise the result of the preliminary examination. Many candidates were demanding postponement of the examination.
