In latest Dehradun news, in good news for the unemployed youth of the State, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released advertisement for recruiting 107 laboratory assistants in the State’s higher education department. Those who have passed the 12th class examination with subjects related to laboratory can apply online. The last date of online application is August 25. While the minimum age of the applicants is 18 years the maximum age limit fixed by the commission is 42 years. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website https://psc.uk.gov.in/ or they may register themselves through OTR (one-time registration) on the UKPSC official website. While there are 21 vacant posts each for the departments of Biology and Botany there are 18 vacant posts each in the departments of Physics and Chemistry and Geography. This aside, there are three vacant posts in the department of Psychology, two in the department of Home Science, one in the department of Anthropology, three in the department of Pedagogy and two for BSc Home Science. Those with under-graduate or post-graduate degrees and with certificates for completion of computer courses will be given preference. Moreover, though the last date of application is August 25 five more days will be given to the candidates to correct any mistakes made in the application.
