Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released the admit cards of 1,19,722 candidates for the recruitment examination scheduled to be held on October 31 to fill up the intermediate level vacancies in various departments.
The commission is conducting the exam in 145 exam centres in all the districts including 38 centres in Dehradun, 23 in Nainital, 22 in Haridwar, nine in Almora, 12 in Udham Singh Nagar, eight each in Pithoragarh and Pauri Garhwal, seven in Chamoli, six in Uttarkashi and four each in Champawat, Tehri and Rudraprayag and two in Bageshwar. The commission is organising the exams in two shifts from 10 am-12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm and a total of 1,19,722 candidates are expected to participate in this exam across the state on October 31.
The UKSSSC secretary Santosh Badoni informed that the commission has also approved the request of 162 candidates to change their centres. They have been allotted examination centres in such a way that they can appear for examinations in both shifts, informed Badoni. Since transportation-related difficulties might occur in some districts due to the recent heavy rainfall, he appealed to the candidates to plan their travel on time and visit the respective centres in advance.
