An unidentified body was recovered from the Raj Vihar Colony of the Roorkee town on Tuesday. The Police are trying to identify the body of the deceased. As per the Police, the Civil Lines Kotwali received information that the dead body of a person was lying in a field near Raj Vihar Colony . On this information, Inspector in-charge of Civil Line Kotwali, Devendra Chauhan reached the spot along with the police team.
The Police found injury marks on the head of the deceased. The body was sent for post-mortem. It is suspected that the person may have had a fight with someone in which he was probably hit on the head with a heavy object which led to his death.
