The officers of the regional office of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Dehradun virtually participated in a programme presided over by the Union minister of consumer affairs, food and civil supplies Piyush Goyal on Monday.
The programme was organised to initiate the iconic week during the ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and for inauguration of the Divisional Office, Hubli (Karnataka) and a food museum in Thanjavur, Chennai.
Speaking on the occasion Goyal said that the employees and officers should work with similar zeal, commitment and honesty. He also expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing an efficient and visionary leadership to the country. He praised the achievements of the corporation during the pandemic period.
The union ministers Ashwini Kumar Chaubey and Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti were also present in the programme.
