Union Panchayati Raj secretary inspects Swamitva scheme
The union Panchayati Raj secretary, Sunil Kumar has said that the villagers should select the development projects depending on their needs of next 20-30 years. He was addressing a meeting at Jiwanwala village of Doiwala in Dehradun on Friday. He held discussions with the villagers and panchayat representatives about the master planning of the development of the village. The union secretary and joint secretary Alok Prem Nagar inspected the progress of the ‘Swamitva Yojana’ on the day. They explained the benefits of local plans, Gram Panchayat Vikas Yojana, rural sanitation and Swamitva scheme on the occasion. The union secretary and Joint secretary also visited Rohalki Kishanpur village of Bahadrabad in Haridwar and inspected drone flying being done by the Survey of India for Swamitva Yojana.
The secretary Panchayati Raj Uttarakhand, H C Semwal, director Survey of India, Col Pawan Pandey and others accompanied the duo.
