University of Patanjali observes National Library Day

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the central library of the University of Patanjali observed the National Library Day which commemorates the birth anniversary of S R Ranganathan known as the father of library science in India.
Addressing the gathering, the pro-vice chancellor of the university Mahavir Agarwal while paying tribute to Ranganathan said that library plays a critical role in the making of the accomplished intellectuals. He further said that the youth get a positive message in books which transforms their life and inspires them to involve themselves in nation-building process.
The proctor of the university Swami Arshdev exhorted the youth to read the biographies of freedom fighters and derive inspiration from their lives.
