In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Cabinet minister and the MLA from Narendra Nagar, Subodh Uniyal inaugurated the development conference involving gram panchayats-Dobakoti, Ghargaon and Digothi- in Chamba blocks of Tehri district on Monday. He said that the State government would go all-out to developmentally transform this rural region through boosting adventure tourism, pirul initiatives and self-employment schemes.
Further, he stressed on launching homestays in places with mythological significance to enhance tourist footfalls. Also, he emphasised on solar power generation as a means of improving the financial status of the locals.
