The Uttarakhand BJP has included the name of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath in the list of its star campaigners for the upcoming elections of the Urban Local Bodies in the State. The UP CM is expected to address meetings in the major cities of the State in support of the BJP candidates.
The list of star campaigners includes the names of the president of the state BJP Mahendra Bhatt, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, national general secretary Dushyant Gautam, national vice president Rekha Verma and union minister of State Ajay Tamta.
Former chief ministers Trivendra Singh Rawat, Teerath Singh Rawat, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Vijay Bahuguna also figure in the list of 40 star campaigners. Former president of State BJP Ajay Bhatt, Garhwal MP Anil Baluni, national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi and cabinet ministers of Uttarakhand also find a place in the list of star campaigners.
