To meet emergencies, UPCL claims to have kept essential electrical instruments like conductors, cables, poles, transformers in sufficient numbers in Kedarnath Dham. Besides, generators have been installed in the nearest hospital and GMVN-run rest house to ensure power supply during emergency situations.
