UPES office bearers said that a fourth-year Industrial Product Design student of the university Shreshth Sinha has received the Charpak Scholarship for a Semester Exchange Programme at L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique, France and added that he is all set to join the autumn session this month at L’Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique, France.
Sharing his feeling, Sinha said that he was excited being connected with the global design community to further his knowledge in the design space. The Charpak Scholarship programme is an initiative by the French government and is administered by the Embassy of France in India. It allows Indian students to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels in public and private institutions in France.
The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of 860 euros, a student visa, a Campus France fee waiver and assistance in finding affordable student housing. Speaking on the student’s achievement, dean, School of Design, UPES, Phani Tetali said that the university would continue to empower students to seize global opportunities.
