UPES in collaboration with Inter- University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) hosted the 7th International Conference on Nanostructuring by Ion Beams (ICNIB 2023). University officials said that the conference brought together scientists, researchers and industry experts, serving as a platform to facilitate dialogue around the advancement of nanotechnology research.
ICNIB 2023 delved deeper into the field of nanostructuring by ion beams and explored the vital role of energetic ions in nanomaterial development and modification while offering innovative solutions to current challenges in the field.
Experts from the US, Germany, the UK, Australia, Japan, South Africa, Thailand and India addressed the conference on ion beam technology and its multifaceted applications. Besides, the conference provided a platform for young PhD students to showcase their research work, UPES claimed.
