Preparations have been completed for the much-awaited tennis cricket Uttarakhand Pro League (UPL). It is set to be inaugurated at 3 pm in Rudrapur. Eight teams from six districts will participate in it. These are Udham Singh Nagar Lines, Nainital Tigers, Pithoragarh Panther, Champawat Royal, Rudrapur Kings, Haldwani Capital, Almora Attackers and Bageshwar Challengers. The first match would be played between Bageshwar Challengers and Pithoragarh Panthers. The second match would be played between Almora Attackers and Haldwani Capital. The third match will be played between Udham Singh Nagar Lines and Rudrapur Kings while the fourth will be played between Nainital Tigers and Champawat Royals. The UPL chairman D B Chand said that the winning team will be given Rs 5,00,000 while the runners- up will be given Rs 2,00,000.
