The Uttarakhand Patrakar Mahasangh celebrated Holi in Dehradun on Wednesday. Industrialist S Farooq inaugurated the event and said that the festival of Holi depicts the humane aspect and is celebrated by all people irrespective of their religion. Senior journalist Devendra Bhasin recited verses penned by noted poet Neeraj on the occasion. Presiding over the function, the Mahasangh president Nishith Saklani exhorted the district unit of the federation to work together and maintain better communication. Federation members Sushil Chamoli, Beena Upadhyay and Rajiv Mathew among others were also present on the occasion. Various cultural performances were staged at the event.
