Official YouTube channel of CM receives silver button

The social media is a better medium for publicity of public welfare schemes. Along with traditional means of publicising such information, the departments should also make effective use of social media, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said. The CM said this after the Information director general Banshidhar Tiwari presented the certificate granted by YouTube which has presented a silver button to the official YouTube channel of the chief minister. It is pertinent to mention here that the silver button is presented after a channel reaches one lakh subscribers.
Dhami said that along with exchange of information, social media platforms are also effective means for publicity. The priority of the government is to ensure that the benefit of all the welfare schemes reaches every citizen. He directed the officials that along with traditional means of publicity, social media can be used in a better way to publicise public welfare schemes of the government.
