The ‘USERC Centre of Excellence in Bioinformatics’ set up by Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) in the campus of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University was inaugurated by the director, USRC Prof Anita Rawat on Saturday. On this occasion, she said that this centre of excellence would not only help the Bioinformatics students in their course but also train them experimentally and provide a direction to their career.
While addressing the gathering as a special guest, the former chairman of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Jagmohan Singh Rana said that while introducing themselves to the new methods of science, the students should remain rooted in the Indian knowledge.
