Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) organised Science and Technology Teachers Conclave here on Saturday. In her address, USERC director Prof Anita Rawat said that USERC has been continuously conducting various scientific activities at the grassroots in collaboration with various educational and research institutions across the State, focusing on innovation, creativity and technology based science education. Along with this, USERC has established 200 Science Awareness Centres and 82 STEM Labs in various schools of the State.
The cabinet minister Premchand Aggarwal, in his address, congratulated the teachers selected for the ‘Uttarakhand Science Education Promotion Award’ in the fourth ‘Science and Technology Teachers Conclave’ organised by USERC.
