Uttarakhand Advertising Club Delhi hosts ‘Life Skill’ workshop

The voluntary organisation Uttarakhand Advertising Club New Delhi organised a workshop titled ‘Life Skills’ at Atal Utkrisht Government Inter College Halduchaur in Haldwani during which class XI and XII students of the school were imparted career counselling. Besides, they were counselled on their preparation for higher education and prospects in the current job market.
The chief trainer of Aspire the Beginning, Chandra P Dobhal, who is also an internationally certified coach in Life Skills and Career besides being a motivational speaker and media personality, conducted the workshop. He dwelt on the salient features of life skills such as personality development and self-confidence enhancement aside from inculcation of communication skill, adaptability and right decision-making power. He made the students aware about the opportunities and challenges in present life.
The students and their parents appreciated the initiative and hoped that such events would continue to be held.
Addressing the seminar, an alumnus of the school Rajendra Pandey said that it was being organised to spare the students of today the hardships the students of his generation had to face due to absence of access to academic and career guidance.
