Conceeding to the demand of the employees, the Uttarakhand government has also declared holiday on November 1. An order regarding this was issued by secretary, General Administration, Deependra Kumar Chaudhary on Wednesday. On Tuesday the State government had announced Deepawali holiday on October 31 cancelling earlier declared holiday on November 1. Now the government offices will remain closed on October 31 ( Deepawali) and November 1.
