Uttarakhand Kabbadi Association to hold Junior Kabbadi Championship on Jan 30-31

The Annual  General Meeting of Uttarakhand Kabbadi Association was held in Haridwar on Sunday.

It was announced at the meeting that Junior Kabbadi Championship will take place in Garhwal and Kumaon divisions of the state on Jan 30 and Jan 31. The performance at this championship will be the basis for selection of the final Junior boys and girls teams of the Uttarkhand that will represent the state in the national kabbadi events in future.

It was also decided that the district kabbadi associations will provide an assistance of minimum of fifty thousand rupees to Uttarakhand Kabbadi Association.

The meeting that was chaired by Uttarakhand Kabbadi Association’s President Ranjeet Singh Rawat unanimously also approved annual financial statements of the association. It was also held that all the Kabbadi players who are attached to various district and other kabbadi associations must register themselves with Uttarakhand Kabbadi Association positively by March 31, 2021. It was also held that those players who are attached to associations that are no affiliated to Uttarakhand Kabbadi Association will not be allowed to participate in any of the kabbadi events either organised by Uttarakhand Kabbadi Association of its district level organizations.

General Secretary Chetan Joshi, Mahesh Joshi, Brijbhushan Vidhyarthi, Narendra Singh Rauthan, Major Singh, Shalabh Mittal, Girish Aggarwal, Brijesh Dubey and other office bearers of the association were present at the meeting.
