Uttarakhand police officers to be felicitated on Republic Day

The inspector general of police (Training) Kewal Khurana and senior superintendents of police of Dehradun and Haridwar, Ajai Singh and Pramendra Dobhal respectively, will be awarded with the Governor’s Excellence Service Medal for distinguished work on Republic Day. The Uttarakhand’s government and the director general of police Deepam Seth announced medals and commendations to officers and personnel based on service and distinguished work on Friday. For the Governor’s Excellence Service Medal for distinguished work, other recipients include additional superintendents of police of Haridwar Surjeet Singh Panwar and Lokjeet Singh.
The DGP’s Commendation Disc (Gold) for service will be awarded to officers such as Dehradun superintendent of police (Intelligence) Pradeep Kumar Rai, Haridwar deputy superintendent of police Rakesh Rawat, deputy superintendent of police of PAC Haridwar Bipendra Singh, traffic inspector of Tehri Umadatt Semwal and Pithoragarh police inspector Kunwar Singh Rawat.
For distinguished work under the Gold category, recipients include Dehradun police inspector Kamal Kumar Lunthi, Sub inspector of the Dehradun Anti-Narcotics Task Force Prakash Shah, Haridwar SI Dinesh Kumar, Udham Singh Nagar police inspector Naresh Chauhan and Haridwar SI Naresh Singh. The Silver Commendation Disc for service includes Dehradun IG Krishna Kumar (Intelligence/Telecom), deputy superintendent of police (Secretariat Security) Kamlesh Pant, Haldwani DSP (Vigilance) Anil Manral, Haridwar PAC Commander, Birendra Singh Kathait and Almora Fire officer Mahesh Chandra. For distinguished work under the Silver category, commendations were announced for Champawat SP Ajay Ganpati Kumbhar, Dehradun inspector (Intelligence) Lakshman Singh Negi, Dehradun Cybercrime inspector Tribhuvan Rautela, Dehrdaun SI Devesh Kumar Pauri SI Pradyuman Singh Negi.
