Uttarakhand team has bagged the overall trophy of the Taekwondo championship by winning a total of 17 Gold, 15 Silver, and 23 Bronze medals. The 12th National Taekwondo Championship was organised by the Uttarakhand Sports Taekwondo Association (UKSTA) which concluded today at Maharana Pratap Sports College, Raipur. The Madhya Pradesh team was awarded the runners-up trophy by winning a total of 13 Gold, nine Silver, and three Bronze medals. The medals were presented by the chairman of the Uttarakhand Sports Taekwondo Association Dr. S Farooq, acting president UKSTA Raunak Jain, organising & general secretary UKSTA Javed Khan, vice president of organising committee DS Mann and others were present during the occasion. The two-day-long championship had participants from over 15 states of India.
