Drishti Eye Institute organised Drishtikon 2023 to celebrate 25 years of service to the community this year. Padma Shri awardees J S Titiyal, Chief of Ophthalmology, AIIMS, New Delhi and S Natarajan, a top retina surgeon from Mumbai inaugurated the first three-dimensional digital microscope ‘Artevo’ of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand region at Drishti Eye Institute on the occasion.
This digital microscope allows the surgeon to perform complex eye surgeries looking at a large 75 inch 4K, 3D monitor instead of the microscope oculars enhancing precision and safety for the patient. The event was attended by more than 150 eye doctors from across the State and neighbouring states.
