In latest news from Uttarakhand, as announced earlier, the Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) declared the results of the high school and intermediate examinations 2024. While the overall pass percentage of the high school examination is 89.14, it is 82.63 for the intermediate. Over two lakh students appeared in these examinations this year.
Piyush Kholia of Almora district along with Kanchan Joshi topped the intermediate result with 97.60 per cent score while Anshul Negi of Rudraprayag came up with the second rank with 97 per cent and Harish Chandra Bijlwan of Rishikesh bagged the third slot with 96 per cent.
Priyanshi Rawat of Pithoragarh topped in the high school examination with a startling score of 500 out of 500 while Shivam Maletha of Rudraprayag bagged the second slot with a score of 498 out of 500 with impressive 99.60 per cent and Ayush of Pauri Garhwal finished third in the merit list with a score of 495 out of 500 with a commendable 99.00 per cent.
